I loved Blood Promise don't get me wrong, but will Spirit Bound live up to our expectations?
My favorite in the series still remains Shadow Kiss because of the intense emotions it dragged out of me. Blood Promise still had the same old butt-kicking Rose that made us laugh and awesome secrets were revealed. I hope the future books will stay that way. But Dimitri has changed a lot. Sorry there might be some spoilers in the next sentences so if u dont want to know some details then stop reading :)
Since Dimitri has turned strigoi, well he's obviously gone a bit evil but somehow hes got all the same memories and thoughts of the old Dimitri. Thats why in Blood Promise he MUST have Rose because thats engraved in his old thoughts. His new self just wants her because his mind is telling him to and i feel so sorry for her when she realises that.
But will Dimitri ever be the same? HE HAS TO!!! lol
But it's too predictable. Will Richelle decide to blow up our hearts by killing off the old Dimitri or will she satisfy us by keeping him alive?
I guess we'll know when Spirit Bound is released (18th of May 2010) But she might choose to drag it out until the book after that.
Another thing is Adrian.... Blood Promise made Rose realise what she feels with Adrian but will it end up a happy ending for him? I love Dimitri, but one of them is not going to have a happy ending, lets just hope that one of them doesn't have the same fate or poor Mason.
I hope Richelle doesnt do one of those quick fixers and make him fall in love with some one else.
But i guess that's kind of better than Dimitri dyeing... lol i really like adrian if only there was a way Rose could have both. impossible. i have to stop dreaming rofl.
I love the series, i just hope my heart doesnt get broken like it did in the House of Night when Heath died *sad face* (although i like stark better ^^)
